We are thrilled to announce the newest additions to the 603 Legal Aid team: Ali Gennaro and Rebecca McKinnon. Both Ali and Rebecca bring a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to our mission of providing civil legal assistance to New Hampshire residents.

Meet Ali Gennaro

Ali Gennaro, Esq.

Ali Gennaro is a proud alumna of Northeastern University School of Law, graduating in 2019. A native of Plymouth, Ali returned to her home state of New Hampshire with a strong desire to use her legal expertise to benefit her community. Ali’s impressive career includes serving as a Law Clerk in the New Hampshire Judicial Branch for four years, with two years at the Superior Court in Rockingham County and two years clerking for the Honorable Justice Hantz-Marconi of the New Hampshire Supreme Court.

Ali’s academic background is equally impressive. She holds a B.A. in Classics from the University of New Hampshire and an M.A. in Classics and Ancient History from the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. Before embarking on her legal career, Ali taught English and Ancient History at a middle school in Oakland, California.

In addition to her legal and academic accomplishments, Ali is passionate about rugby. She is the Head Coach of the University of New Hampshire Women’s+ Rugby team, leading them to historic achievements, including national placements and qualifying for the National Championship tournament.

Ali’s enthusiasm for joining 603 Legal Aid is palpable:

“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to join the team at 603 Legal Aid to be a part of the critical work the organization is doing for the people of New Hampshire.”

Ali’s diverse experiences and her dedication to serving those who might not otherwise have access to legal services make her an invaluable asset to our team.

Meet Rebecca McKinnon

Rebecca McKinnon, Esq.

Rebecca McKinnon is a graduate of the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law. Her career began as a staff attorney with the NH Public Defender program, where she honed her skills and deepened her commitment to justice. Rebecca has also gained valuable experience working in private practice and as a solo practitioner. Most recently, she served as a service coordinator at the Upper Valley Haven, where she played a crucial role in helping individuals experiencing homelessness to secure and maintain housing.

Rebecca’s dedication to supporting people in need is evident in her own words:
